Congratulations to Axil Lonergan who has been elected as the Ouyen P - 12 College (Secondary Campus) Debating/Public Speaking Captain for 2009.
DEBATING
Well done and congratulations to all who took part in the Debating Grand Finals which were held on Wednesday, May 6th in the evening.
With a good sized audience in attendance all students produced and delivered excellent debates, with the decisions being very tight.
With great endeavour Olympic Green managed to win both the junior and senior sections but Olympic Gold (junior) and Insignia Blue (Senior) displayed remarkable character to stay with them.
Thanks to Mrs Karen Crook, Mrs Rhonda Monaghan & Mr Chismezya for adjudicating; to the timekeepers, chairperson, scribes and musicians who without your help this evening could not go ahead.
Finally, congratulations to Mrs Elliott who organised and ran this very successful semester of debating.
